I love sitting and watching the kids 1st year videos on their birthdays. Today is Augustin's 7th birthday, so I took some time while the kids were outside to watch his video. A few things stuck out to me today as I watched it.
Augustin's 1 year Video
1. How many people we saw that year; so many friends and out of town family members were part of 2007.
2. How many places we were able to visit - Washington, DC; northern NH and VT with my parents; Annapolis, MD
3. My grandparents came out for Augustin's baptism and Aaron and Beth's wedding
4. How much I miss my SIL, Beth, and wish we lived closer to each other
5. How young Brad and I looked 7 years ago
6. How small our family used to be with only 4 children and how I never dreamed how it would grow and double in size in the following 7 years --- to include 3 little girls
7. How much Augustin looks the same now as he did as a baby
8. How much the kids truly enjoy each other and the older kids really do love the younger ones
9. How happy Augustin has always been. He has always been the smiliest and overall the most laid back and easy going baby; Beatrice may give him a run for his money.
What an amazing 7 years it has been with this wonderful little boy in our lives.
