Triduum 2012: Holy Thursday

We had a busy Holy Week, getting ready for the start of the Triduum and Easter.  Holy Week is always busy...cooking, cleaning, laundry and last minute errands all in preparation for a relaxing Triduum and Easter Sunday.  This year proved to be no different.

I set all the clothes out on Thursday morning so there was no question as to whether we had everything or not.  Thankfully the 3 older boys all wear suit and ties and the little 2 boys wear  Easter outfits from previous years that older boys have out grown.  That left Veronica, which wasn't hard, but lots of fun, since all of her outfits are new.

She had 3 dresses layed out...Holy Thursday (pink), Good Friday (yellow and orange flowers) and Holy Saturday (floral).  With new tights and a white sweater.  Everything was purchased, found and ready to go, so after a quick dinner on Thursday we were ready to go.  Holy Thursday Mass is always one of my favorites.  I always look forward to Holy Thursday Mass...the incense, the start of the Triduum, the music and the anticipation of Easter in a few days.

Veronica dressed up and waiting for Mass to start.

Brad, Grant and Matthias participated in the Eucharistic Procession from Ste. Marie's to Sacred Heart while I took the little ones home.  Parker was still under the weather and missed Holy Thursday Mass this year.
